Recently I was speaking with another real estate agent about the neighborhood that we live in. We both love and enjoy our beautiful town of San Pedro, the variety of culture, the trails, ocean views, historic buildings and the closeness of the community,etc. However, it just drives us insane when some of the newer and older developments, parks and sites around town are immediately vandilized, littered and run down. I feel we get the least amount of attention when it comes to getting much needed maintenance here in San Pedro. Let's face it, San Pedro is one of the last places that I know which offers waterfront property affordably, FREE Shakespeare in the Park every summer in July, FREE Concerts in the Park, FREE First Thursdays Art Walks and really attempts to provide free entertainment and good old family fun despite the challenges of funding. So my point is this. Get involved in your community no matter where you live. If you are growing your family and future and plan to stay a while, why not be active and support your community?

As for my myself and the other agent, we're going to start attending a few city council meetings to hear what’s going on and lend a hand or two.
